About Baron

Baron started his journey in photography over 30 years ago. In the late 80’s and throughout the 90’s, he extensively experimented with strobes utilizing both the 35mm and medium format film mediums - specifically black and white processing and printing as well as some color printing in his personal dark room. When the digital age of photography arrived and began to replace film as the mainstream photographic medium, Baron did not initially make the switch as the digital medium was primitive and uninteresting to him at that time. In the last several years, the digital medium has vastly improved, and in many ways has surpassed films of the past. As such, Baron has become interested in the craft again and is now applying his honed eye and intimate understanding of lighting to create refined compositions and beautiful images in the digital age.
